Engineering Plans - Stone Trough Coal Line

Kindly Donated by Roger Kiernan
I received an email early January 2009 from Roger Kirenan in Anglesey. He told me that 18 years aga his son found this plan along with others in a skip at Bangor. 18 years later John kindly sent them to me to photograph and then donate to the Chapel Museum. The plan is nearly 5ft long and is presented in 2 halves. The Plans show the proposed Tramway but not the Tunnel, this was probably part of the first lease eareement from 1832.
It is worth noting the the designer of the tracks used in the earlier Mow Cop railway was Benjamin Wyatt of Bangor.
